TCU Tuning
Vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions are normally equipped with a TCU (Transmission control unit).
One of the primary purposes of a TCU tune is to allow more torque to be transferred through the engine and transmission, which results in more power and torque throughout the entire rev range of the vehicle.

The TCU works in harmony with the ECU (Engine Control Unit) by sending and receiving real time data across the vehicles network system.
When tuning a vehicle, it is often recommend to have the ECU and TCU remapped simultaneously, this ensures both control units continue to work in harmony and will help to fully optimize the performance and driveability of the vehicle.
Some benefits you can unlock from a TCU tune are...

-
Faster shift speeds
-
Firmer shifts
-
Increased acceleration
-
Increased torque capacity
-
Increased line pressure
-
Reduced clutch slip
-
Improved launch control
-
Improved economy
